UNDECIDED OPEN MINDED

Tired of social norms, overbearing grandmothers, and shockingly confident strangers trying to tell you how to live your life? So am I. My name is Ally Yoh and I recently decided to stop doing “the responsible thing” and quit my boring job in pursuit of finding a passion. No more settling and putting my head down for a paycheck- it’s time to get out there and find something that sets my soul on fire.

So, I left behind everything comfortable and familiar, flew halfway around the world and propelled myself into the unknown. I’ll be traveling for the next few months, dedicating my time to trying new things, asking questions to anyone who will listen (and… fingers crossed… speaks English), and hopefully doing the unthinkable: finding a passion that makes me truly happy.

Will reading this blog tell you how to instantly find your own happiness? Stop global warming? Prove Tupac is still alive? Probably not, but my goal in documenting this experience is to give you the chance to share in my journey, laugh at my (countless) mistakes, know you’re not the only one faking it ’til you make it, and ~who knows?~ maybe even learn something that will get you one step closer to finding your own happiness. Let the journey begin.
